Sherlock Holmes Chapter One_05

Frogwares has a new gameplay trailer for Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, this time showcasing the investigative mechanics that players can use. Along with sweeping for clues, players must examine the evidence which can then be presented to different NPCs. Who knows? Someone may just have the information you’re looking for.

Of course, not everyone is willing to talk so a disguise will be in order (just make sure to choose the right one for the situation). Determine a suspect, who may treat you differently depending on a number of factors, and then you’ll bring it all together in the Mind Palace. Work out your theories and form a definitive conclusion…even if it ends up being wrong.

By the end, it’s up to the player to decide whether a suspect should receive punishment or not. Some may be justified in their reasoning. You could show mercy but the consequences will also fall on you. For more details on Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, check out our feature here. It’s out on November 16th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC with the Xbox One and PS4 versions coming later.
