Atlus has released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei 5 and while it doesn’t showcase any major new details, it does provide a brief look at the Nahobino. This is a being considered “neither human or demon” and is formed when the player character fuses with an entity named Aogami. Thus begins the duo’s journey to forge their own destiny.

In Shin Megami Tensei 5, the player is transported from modern day Tokyo to Da’At, which seems to be an alternate version of the city that’s been laid to waste. With Aogami’s help, they traverse the wasteland, fighting off and forming contracts with demons to ultimately survive. It’s not long before other characters gain the ability to summon demons though and other vested interests intervene which could change their future.

Shin Megami Tensei 5 is out on November 12th for the Nintendo Switch. For more gameplay that showcases the combat system and various demons that one can wield, head here. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
