Shin Megami Tensei 5 Trailer Teases a Demonic Conflict

The newest trailer for Atlus' upcoming RPG reveals new story details, while also showing plenty of new gameplay footage.

Shin Megami Tensei 5 is getting closer to its November launch day and day, and Atlus has been ratcheting up the hype surrounding the game with a steady stream of new details and trailers being provided on a regular basis. It’s helped, of course, that the RPG has looked excellent in all that we’ve seen of it so far. Now, another new trailer has been released, and it’s quite a meaty one.

More story details have been providing, focusing on the conflict against Bethel and the apocalyptic war being waged on Tokyo by an army of demons, with some more light being shed on the struggles that the protagonist will face and how we will deal with the crisis. We also get glimpses of quite a bit of new gameplay footage, showing various locations, demons, and combat scenes. Check it out below.

Shin Megami Tensei 5 is due out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on November 12.
