Atlus revealed that Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch during the recent Partner Showcase. However, it also confirmed that the acclaimed 2021 RPG would launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC on June 21st. A physical edition is also confirmed, with pre-orders starting on February 27th.

A Special Program Spotlight is also live, with the development team discussing various ideas that couldn’t be implemented during the original game’s development. It served as the main driving force for Vengeance, as it offers a new storyline, locations, Demons and new characters like Yoko, who ventures with the protagonist.

When players start in Vengeance, they can follow the Canon of Creation, the same story as the base game. The Canon of Vengeance is new, and while it features a similar plot at the start, the middle and later parts of the narrative see “significant changes.” There are also new endings to unlock. Check out the Spotlight below for more details.
