Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon

Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, an action adventure puzzler based on Yacht Club Games’ platformer, is now available for PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Co-developed by Vine, it sees the legendary Shovel Knight mysteriously sucked inside of the Pocket Dungeon. After meeting with Puzzle Knight, he begins the journey to escape.

This isn’t a traditional platforming adventure though. Each stage sees Shovel Knight digging through various blocks and enemies (with adjacent blocks forming chains that makes them easier to clear). Unlike Grindstone, the gameplay is real-time – the more steps taken, the faster that blocks will fall. Customizable difficulty options are available and one can opt for a roguelike approach where one death means starting over.

Along with Shovel Knight, various other characters like Specter Knight, King Knight and many more are available to unlock, each with their own unique abilities. Daily Challenge and Versus Mode are also available for those who finish Story Mode. Three DLC packs will also be released over the next year, adding even more content to the game so stay tuned for more details.
