Amid strong critical acclaim, advanced access for Konami’s Silent Hill f is now available. While the player numbers on Steam remain unknown, the survival horror title currently has a “Very Positive” rating, with 89 percent of 365 user reviews giving it a thumbs-up.
Set in the fictional 1960s fishing town of Ebisugaoka, the story focuses on Shimizu Hinako, who fights for survival against various monstrosities. However, as the recent launch trailer showcased, she has some inner rage against her parents and classmates to process, and who knows where that could go.
Thus far, critics have been very positive – on Metacritic, Silent Hill f currently has an 86 Metascore on PC based on 78 reviews, tying with the original Silent Hill as the third-highest rated title in the series. It’s available on September 25th for Standard Edition owners on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Pre-loads should begin later today, so stay tuned and check out our review.
