The world of Silent Hill is as much about dealing with one’s trauma as much as confronting inner demons, and Konami’s Silent Hill f appears to be no exception. Advanced access starts tomorrow for Deluxe Edition owners, but in the meantime, a terrifying new launch trailer is available, providing more context on Hinako’s situation. Check it out below.

Raised in Ebisugaoka, the school-going protagonist doesn’t like her parents. Much ire is towards her father, but she’s also hateful of her mother. The full details weren’t provided, but various scenes in the Otherworld, including a tanto seemingly carving up Hinako’s face, are showcased. We also see her classmates/friends in states of distress, though for what purpose is unknown.

Silent Hill f launches on September 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC with pre-loads currently available for Deluxe Edition owners (and on September 23rd for the Standard Edition). Various reviews are now available, resulting in an 86 Metascore on Metacritic. You can check out our feature for everything to know before diving in.
