Silent Hills P.T. Is Recreated In Unreal Engine 4

And the results are gorgeous.

At Gamescom, Konima unveiled P.T., a new interactive teaser for an upcoming Silent Hill reboot that he will be helming. The teaser was amazing, it instantly got people talking, and it also helped that it looked absolutely gorgeous- as it should, given that it was created (presumably) using his own in house FOX Engine.

However, now, someone has painstakingly taken the liberty of recreating the entire thing in Unreal Engine 4, and the results are, as expected, stunning, although I think it loses at least some of its character as a result, which makes sense, since Unreal Engine is used so much more widely, we’re more used to it and whatever it renders.

Unfortunately (possibly due to copyright constraints?) the only version of the Unreal one is non interactive and not playable. Maybe Kojima will notice this guy, and give him the go ahead to make a fully playable built in Unreal.

Maybe.
