Skull and Bones launched earlier this year after years of delays, development issues, and what have you, and though it didn’t set the world on fire by any means, the multiplayer pirate game is continuing to receive new content. At its recent Ubisoft Forward showcase, Ubisoft commemorated the launch of Skull and Bones Season 2 with a new trailer, while also detailing what will follow in the next season.

For starters, season 2 introduces a new narrative arc that will center around two new Sea Lords in the form of the Hubac Twins. Additionally, the new season also brings with it a new Sea Monster in the form of the Megalodon, Lestari, and a new ship, the Brig, which is a versatile, fast, and highly maneuverable ship. On top of that, there’s new events, features related to fleet management, and even new solo and PvE game modes.

Season 3, meanwhile, will arrive this summer, bringing the mysterious Li Tian Ning, a renegade of the Dragon’s Claw, who’ll take on the role of the new Sea Lord for players to take on. There will be new activities, story content, rewards, and a new Sea Monster, while on top of that, the game will also add a new 5v5 PvP mode.

Skull and Bones is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
