Sleeping Dogs Halloween-Themed DLC “Nightmare in North Point” Does a Thriller

Zombies, vampires and the supernatural collide in United Front Games' first DLC for Sleeping Dogs.

Another day, another DLC. Coming off the announcement of missions packs that will be coming out from October onwards for Sleeping Dogs, United Front Games and Square-Enix the first DLC to come out which will celebrate the spirit of Halloween.

And what does that mean in gaming? Zombies. Only Sleeping Dogs will be doing a Chinese take on the undead in “Nightmare in North Point” wherein a dead Triad member returns to life with an army of the undead to wreck havoc on Hong Kong. But this won’t be a problem for protagonist Wei Shen since he has lightning fists (seriously) and a peach wood sword for taking on Jiang Shi Chinese vampires. No reports yet on whether they sparkle or not.

Intrigued yet? Square-Enix has announced that the DLC will provide a good couple of hours worth of gameplay content, though no price has officially been confirmed. More details should arrive shortly, but does the thought of the Oriental undead sound interesting enough to drop a few bucks on?
