Slime Rancher 2 is Launching in Early Access on September 22

Monomi Park has announced the early access release date for its sequel to the incredibly-popular Slime Rancher. Slime Rancher 2 is coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S in September.

Developer Monomi Park has announced that Slime Rancher 2 will be released on September 22. The game will be available on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, and the console version will be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S.

The September launch for Slime Rancher 2 will be an early access release, with developent presumed to continue all the way up to the game’s final release.

Slime Rancher 2 continues the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau. Its main setting this time around will be Rainbow Island, which is described as a mysterious land filled with ancient technology, unknown natural resources, and new slimes.

Slime Rancher 2 was announced back in June 2021 with an announcement trailer. Its Xbox Series X/S release will be accompanied by a day one release on Xbox Game Pass as well.

The game got a preview trailer earlier this year, showing off some gameplay for ranching slimes as well as exploration.
