Rebellion has released a new trailer, alongside new screenshots, for the upcoming Sniper Elite 5. The trailer and screenshots show off the game’s new enhanced Kill Cam—a feature that the franchise has become known for.
Rebellion has elaborated on the new Kill Cam features in the description for its trailer. While older Sniper Elite games focused on showing players the Kill Cam specially for shots with rifles, Sniper Elite 5 will now also show off the Kill Cam for “particularly clinical shots” with SMGs and pistols as well.
Players will also be given control over the Kill Cam in real-time, according to the studio, allowing them to adjust the speed of the Kill Cam cinematic, as well as other aspects like the camera angle. Players will also have the ability to adjust the frequency of Kill Cams from the game’s menus, including the ability to disable it entirely.
Sniper Elite 5 is also giving players the ability to customise their weapons. Players will have to explore the game’s missions to find hidden workbenches, which unlock more and more customisation options.
Sniper Elite 5 is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on May 26. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
