Soma

Frictional Games has never been one to shy away from messing with the player’s mind, as Amnesia: The Dark Descent has proven, but SOMA could go even further. Taking place in an underwater facility, the player will need to navigate about this mysterious environment while avoiding sentient, murderous robots. It’s all rather a lot to take in so just watch the story trailer below.

SOMA has been in development since 2010 and is the developer’s next big title since Amnesia: The Dark Descent. There’s a lot about the story that still needs to be answered – including how one plans to escape – but we have a feeling it won’t all be as simple as that.

Releasing on PC and PS4, SOMA will be available on September 22nd. What are your thoughts on the story and will you be playing SOMA next week? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
