Sonic Frontiers Receives Free Holiday Cheer Suit DLC Today

Though it doesn't provide any gameplay benefits, the free cosmetic suit adds a little Christmas flair to Sonic's get-up.

Sonic Frontiers - Holiday Cheer Suit

Several games are celebrating the Holidays, the latest being Sonic Team’s Sonic Frontiers. According to the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter, players can obtain a free Holiday Cheer Suit to wear in-game, starting today.

Like the Monster Hunter collaboration DLC, which adds two sets of Rathalos armor for Sonic to equip, the suit doesn’t offer any benefits. It’s purely cosmetic and gives Sonic a little Holiday flair. Now, all Sega needs to do is add Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams as an unlockable with all of the Sega Saturn features intact.

Sonic Frontiers is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review here. With over 2.5 million units sold, more post-launch content is on the way, like Photo Mode, New Challenges and Modes, and additional playable characters. There’s even new story content in the works. Stay tuned for more updates next year.
