Sega and Sonic Team have released a new trailer for Sonic Frontiers’ first major post-launch update, “Sights, Sounds and Speed.” The update is out now for free and adds several new features like Challenge Modes, Photo Mode and Jukebox. Check them out below.

Photo Mode, as the name implies, lets you pause gameplay and take pictures of Sonic. Along with changing the camera position and angle, you can use different frames and seven filters to edit it. Jukebox lets you play tracks from the game and previous titles while exploring. However, only 13 are available initially, with 40 more available to unlock by collecting Sound Memories throughout the islands.

Challenge Modes are for speed runners and combat enthusiasts. Cyber Space Challenge Mode is about racing through seven Cyber Space levels, one after another, to beat the block. Battle Rush pits you against enemies and Titans with a limited time, and if you earn a high enough rank, there’s a “special surprise” in store.

Sonic Frontiers is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It’s sold over three million copies, and two more updates are coming this year.
