Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the newest kart racer from Sega, will also feature cameos from Hatsune Miku and Persona 5, but that’s not all. The Season Pass adds characters from other franchises, including Minecraft’s Steve, Creeper and Alex. Of course, that’s only the beginning – SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Avatar Legends also join the fun.
The latest trailer highlights SpongeBob and Patrick as racers alongside Bikini Bottom as a new track. Players will race through the Krusty Krab and even avoid a giant Plankton robot’s eye laser. A release window for the content wasn’t confirmed, but it will arrive after the Minecraft DLC.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches on September 25th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch (with a Switch 2 version coming later). In addition to the Season Pass, those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will also receive three days early access and three characters from Sonic Prime.
