Sonic X Shadow Generations is one of several things for fans of the blue hedgehog to look forward to in the coming months, but it is a big release, and it looks like Sega is going to commemorate it appropriately. The company has partnered with Limited Run Games and will be releasing a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming expanded remaster, and it’s one that will likely turn a few heads.
The chief attraction of the package is a Sonic and Shadow Dreamcast statue, which showcases the two speedsters standing atop a perfectly recreated Dreamcast. In addition, the package will also include an art book, a steelbook case, a commemorative Dreamcast jewel case, the official soundtrack, an individually numbered certificate of authenticity, and a Sonic, Shadow, and Classic Sonic shoes keychain.
Meanwhile, the game itself will also come with some bonuses, including reversible cover art and a 28-page journal penned by Gerald Robotnik. The Collector’s Edition will be priced at $249.99, and will remain available for pre-orders from now until October 6. Limited Run Games says it will be sending out shipments between October 25 and November 8.
Sonic X Shadow Generations is set to launch on October 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
