Sony Cancles Low-Priced Pre-orders On Beyond: Two Souls

Perhaps a mistake?

Kotaku is reporting that Sony has removed the super low-priced pre-orders on Beyond: Two Souls earlier today.

Sony has sent out an email to people who have pre-ordered the game and canceled the customer’s pre-order and instead gave a $5 electronic coupon that users may use towards the pre-order purchases.

It’s kind of strange to see a company advertise something and then take it away from the consumers. This is unusual of Sony, and the only logic is that it was some kind of mistake in the first place that went by unnoticed until the last minute.
