Sony China Holding Press Conference Tomorrow, Will Share More China Hero Project News

Sony Interactive Entertainment China may have some local-specific news to share very soon.

Ahead of Chinese digital and entertainment expo known as ChinaJoy, Sony Interactive Entertainment China have announced that they will be holding a press conference themselves. It will be held tomorrow, August 2nd, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM local time, as was confirmed by the official Twitter page of China Hero Project.

So yeah, of course, that gives us a hint of what Sony will be focusing on during the press conference- China Hero Project, and the games it will bring with it. For those not in the know, China Hero Project is an incubation initiative that was kickstarted by Sony not too long ago, with the idea behind it being providing more support to Chinese video game developers for creating games on the PS4.

Of the many games that fall under the banner, we can expect Lost Soul Aside, developed by UltiZero Games, to be among the ones that the press conference will speak about. Many of the games under the project are, of course, VR titles, so we can probably expect a good deal of time of the 60 minute conference to be spent on PlayStation VR.

Either way, stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated on any interesting info that comes our way.
