Phil Spencer is a diplomat and a gentleman- he always has nice things to say about the competition. The reveal of the PlayStation 4 Pro is no exception as, speaking on Twitter, Spencer praised Sony for their admittedly lackluster PS4 reveal, saying that they did a ‘nice job’ with it. That said, he also added that he was very happy with Microsoft’s own plans, presumably referring to the impending launch of the Xbox One Scorpio next year, and the successful launch of the Xbox One S earlier this year.

“I always think it’s great when game companies have events and announces. They did a nice job but I’m very happy with our plans,” he said.

The Xbox One Scorpio promises to have 6TFLOPs of GPU power, which puts it well beyond any other console ever made, including Sony’s PS4 Pro as well. Since the reveal of the PS4 Pro, Microsoft have been trumping the Scorpio’s superiority, especially pointing to the Xbox consoles’ ability to play UHD and 4K Blu Ray movies.
