It shouldn’t come as a big surprise that Sony is trying to get people quite hyped for the upcoming Paris Games week. Because the company skipped Gamescom, there are some who believe they lost a little ground to Microsoft in the console wars and the company is going to want to make that up when it comes to the PS4 heading into the Holiday season. To that end, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and Strategic Content Director Shahid Ahmad took to Twitter to tout the things he’s seen and the companies he’s signed.

Ahmad first tweeted out that he wished other people could see the things he’s seen over the last week or so, clearly hinting that he’s gotten his eyes on some very good games. He followed that up with another tweet saying “it’s my job to bring great devs and games to PlayStation and I like investing money in great talent.” A couple more tweets  showed the exec is pretty excited about being able to tell people just why this past week has been so good for him.

The best news of all came when people started actually asking him about when we could expect to see some of the things the exec was talking about. One particular user asked whether the just announced Kick Off was what he was talking about. Ahmad responded that was just the tip of the iceberg. He was also asked whether people might be able to see some of these wonderful things at Paris Games Week and he teased back with “you never know,” and a winky smile. It appears we are indeed going to be able to see some big things in the very near future.
