Sony Paris Games Week

As it usually does, Sony has confirmed it will be hosting a media showcase at Paris Games Week. This will take place on October 30th at 5 PM local time (which should be around 8 AM PDT).

Though Sony hasn’t confirmed which games will be present, it did note around E3 2017 that certain things were purposefully not showcased. Shuhei Yoshida, the president for Sony Worldwide Studios, noted that the company had “things we have held”. He also noted that more news would be coming “later this year” but didn’t specify when and where that would happen.

Sony was actually absent at Gamescom and Paris Games Week last year but in 2015, it showcased Detroit: Become Human and Gran Turismo Sport. Given the number of releases planned for the first half of 2018, it’s possible that more exclusives could be showcased. Regardless, the event will be streamed so better to wait till then and not get your hopes up.
