Project Morpheus

Sony recently revealed Project Morpheus, its VR headset meant specifically for PS Move, PS4 and PS Eye, at GDC 2014. While it’s still a work in-progress, Sony did reveal the technical specifications along with a few games that would support it.

Some of the games showcased include Sony London Studio’s The Deep, Eve: Valkyrie, Eidos Montreal’s Thief, SCE’s The Castle (in which players could use PS Move as a weapon to attack foes) along with a tech demo for Datura. We already saw God of War running on Morpheus so it’s highly likely that Sony will offer support for the recent God of War: Ascension as well.

Project Morpheus will apparently cost as little as possible according to Sony and will be available for attendees to try out at GDC 2014. We’ll have more details and images of Morpheus and Sony’s GDC session soon so stay tuned and let us know what you think so far in the comments.
