Sony’s PS4 detailed, features dual-GPU as well – Report

Posted By | On 05th, Apr. 2012

We have more leaks for you and its now being said that the PS4 will support dual-GPU just like which was rumoured for Microsoft’s next gen console.

These specs were leaked by unnamed sources to IGN, and they say that Sony will go with a custom HD 7670, and an A8-3850 APU.

Now if you don’t know the A8-3850 APU also has an integrated graphics processor which is capable of running games on a low resolution and with the help of the HD 7670 card, it seems it will get adequate support.

The HD 7670 card is not a high end card in the PC market, in fact, it’s considered to be a low range card as it is based on 2011’s HD 6670 and has the exact same specs.

They will be custom made and Sony is not using the exact parts, the source mentioned. These specs are not final and may change later.
