Atlus has been slowly revealing new details and trailers for Soul Hackers 2, it’s upcoming RPG follow-up to the 1997 cult classic. The latest focuses on Arrow, one of Ringo’s allies and a playable character who works with the organization Yatagarasu. Described as “honest and quiet” but “passionate deep inside,” he seems to have a connection with Kaburagi of the antagonistic Phantom Society.
Arrow’s COMP is the Mk80 Summoning Gun which can unleash Ice skills and is also useful for support. Along with high endurance, he can eventually pick up abilities that shield the party from harm. Expect more details on other characters in the coming weeks.
Soul Hackers 2 is slated to release on August 26th for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC worldwide. Those who pre-purchase in Japan can net the “Persona 5” Costume and BGM Set 2 which includes Phantom Thieves outfits for the party, the “Keeper of Lust” battle BGM and the Phantom Mask Accessory for increase critical rate of gun attacks. Atlus has yet to confirm whether these bonuses will be available worldwide.
