Soul Sacrifice Demo Announced, Releases on April 16th for PlayStation Store

Let the bodies (and parts) hit the floor.

Marvelous SQL’s Soul Sacrifice will be launching on the PlayStation Vita on April 30th, but until then, the official PlayStation Blog has posted an interview with Keiji Inafune talking about the game.

On top of that, there will be an official demo for the game arriving on April 16th for the PlayStation Store. The demo will see you taking the role of a captive waiting to be sacrificed by who begins speaking to a mysterious book called Librom, that allows those who read it to experience whatever has been been written inside. Cryptic enough yet?

The mechanics of the game are certainly interesting, as the action RPG requires you to sacrifice body parts and items to attack enemies, which are subsequently marked on the main character’s body afterwards. There are several customizations on this as you can opt to play as different classes and even alongside three friends via cooperative play.

Even better, you can sacrifice whole party members to defeat powerful enemies. How’s that for losing friends and alienating people?
