Soulcalibur 6 Haohmaru

After announcing him last year for Soulcalibur 6’s new Season Pass, Bandai Namco has finally showcased Samurai Shodown’s Haohmaru in all of his glory. The new gameplay trailer introduces the new stage coming with DLC 9 and see Haohmaru squaring off against Soulcalibur’s own Mitsurugi. Check it out below.

Much like Mitsurugi, Haohmaru sports a pair of rising slashes. That’s pretty much where the comparisons end though – Haohmaru can unleash a small whirlwind as a projectile and even unleash a flurry of rising slashes. Suffice to say that his transition to the Soulcalibur franchise looks flawless.

Haohmaru doesn’t have a release date but is billed as “coming soon.” He’ll come with his own Creation Parts set and will be the second DLC fighter in Season Pass 2 after Hilde. Two more fighters are still to be revealed so stay tuned for more details. Soulcalibur 6 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
