Insomniac Games may not be delivering Sunset Overdrive 2 anytime soon but we get the next best thing with Marvel’s Spider-Man. The latest gameplay trailer starts off on an interesting note with Peter Parker just casually going to school and meeting his classmates. Several characters like Mary Jane Watson, Norman Osborne, Wilson Fisk and much more are introduced. Check out the trailer below.
Several interesting gameplay elements are hinted at like the ability to control Mary Jane during one mission. Other than that – and moving about with Peter in ordinary day to day life – Spider-Man features much of the same high octane action that we’ve been promised. Heck, even the Shocker shows up at one point, indicating the presence of more than one villain in the game.
Spider-Man is still set to release in 2018 and there’s no indication of it coming before the second half of the year like Sony promised. Regardless, stay tuned for more updates from Sony’s Media Showcase.
