It hasn’t been too long since Spider-Man has released, and it has already been a massive success all around the world. Some of you may have already finished the game, and others may be nearing the end, but you don’t have to say goodbye just yet. In the new trailer for Sony’s animated film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, we get to see a cameo of sorts of Spidey from the recent video game.
In this trailer, at the 1:38 minute point, there is a shot which has the white-spider suit being displayed the background. This is, as you might know, the suit that made its debut with Spider-Man on the PS4, so it’s a nice little nod to Insomniac Games’ video game. Sure enough, Marvel Games’ Executive Director Bill Rosemann, Yuri Lowenthal who played the superhero in the game, and Insomniac Games’ Community Director James Stevenson all reacted to this news on Twitter, and they seem pretty excited about it too.
You can check out the new trailer for the film below. Spider-Man is currently available exclusively for the PS4, while Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse launches in theatres on December 14, 2018.
