As the release date for Spider-Man draws closer, Insomniac Games has been ramping up the hype, with a new gameplay launch trailer, or the elaborate subway train advertisement we saw recently. They’ve now released a brand new trailer for the game once more, titled ‘New York City Open-World Trailer’, and as the name suggests, it shows off the game’s open world features.

The trailer starts off with the host of the podcast ‘Just The Facts’, J. Jonah Jameson trying to alert citizens about what a menace Spider-Man is. He complains about how the superhero swings up in the air, performs tricks and stuns mid-air climbs up skyscrapers, and doesn’t walk like a normal person. Peter Parker, who’s calling in as Peter “Patterson”, defends the superhero (defending himself, rather), and says that it’s because the city is so diverse, and maybe Spidey likes sightseeing, and it’s also useful to monitor criminals. Anyway, all the while we are treated to footage of the superhero swinging through the city and partaking in the many open-world activities, like unlocking backpacks, visiting research stations, and more.

You can check out the new trailer below to see what the game’s open world has in store for you. Other than being a great advert for several in-game features, it’s just a cool humorous video in general, so take a look if you have the time. Spider-Man is set to release exclusively for the PS4 on September 7.
