Square-Enix Details Changes and Omissions for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn

Posted By | On 31st, Jul. 2012

Who’s excited for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn? It would’ve been odd, a long time ago, to profess any kind of interest towards arguably one of the weakest MMOs of all time from a major company and franchise.

However, Square-Enix is hell-bent on rising above the hate, and making Final Fantasy XIV Part 2 a success. In fact, they’ve brought out a list of changes to existing features.

These include: Goobbue Mounts, guild marks, achievements (Battles, Quests, Seasonal Events, Dungeons, and Exploration), replayable cutscenes, and character histories.

Many features related to the above have either been removed, modified, tweaked or simply renovated. Check out the full list of changes here.

And who knows? This might be only the beginning. One thing is for sure, though – Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is earning it’s hype this time around. It will see release some time between late 2012 and early 2013 for PC and Playstation 3.
