Square Enix may have increased development for mobile platforms, with ports of just about every old-school Final Fantasy title now available for Android and iOS (with an upcoming port for Final Fantasy Type-0 on the way), but it’s still focused on high end titles.

Speaking to Siliconera, Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda stated that “Domestic development will not be completely devoted to just smartphone devices. For high-end devices such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we will continue focusing on them with our ‘flagship’ titles. We’ve already announced Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III, which our domestic studios are working on, and our foreign studios are working on a sequel for Tomb Raider.”

The question remains though – when will we see any of the above release? 2015 seems like the perfect date, since games like Tomb Raider 2 haven’t even been revealed yet. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know below.
