Final Fantasy Type-Next

Now that Final Fantasy Type 0 is finally out in the wild for everyone in the world to enjoy, and actually quite successful and well received, Square seems to be confident enough to tease a sequel to the game that is being called the best (single player) Final Fantasy game in years.  While the HD release of Type 0 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 came with a special trailer teasing the sequel, at a recent event in Hong Kong, Square Enix also shared artwork, showing what the sequel might be like.

While all of this looks promising, don’t get too excited yet- the director of Type 0, Tabata, is now currently working on the still to come Final Fantasy XV, so any production on a possible Type 1 or whatever is currently suspended (though it will possibly resume as soon as XV goes gold- again, considering the positive reception Type 0 has gotten so far).

Still, though, I like what I see here, and I want to see more of it.

Thanks, Gematsu.
