Star Citizen New Trailer Shows Off Quantum Travel

Faster than the speed of light.

Cloud Imperium Games’ Star Citizen will be a hell of a game, whenever it releases- which it won’t any time soon, of course. But to remind us of just how extensive and full featured this space sim will be, the developers have released a brand new trailer for the title, showcasing ‘quantum travel’ within it.

Quantum travel has been available in the game for a while, but it has been overhauled for the upcoming 3.0 update to the game’s alpha- the new trailer mostly walks us through those changes. As always, the game continues to look absolutely gorgeous and impressive.

In related news, crowd funding for the game has now passed the staggering $164 million mile stone. At this point, I don’t even blink when something like this happens, because of course Star Citizen will set new records in crowd funding with each milestone it passes now.

We still don’t know when the game, or any of its modules, will be available to the general public- for now, enjoy the trailer below.
