Cloud Imperium Games recently released a video featuring a question & answer session with Star Citizen‘s single player campaign Squadron 42’s music composer, Geoff Zanelli. Geoff Zanelli is quite a popular composer, having scored the new Pirates of the Caribbean film Dead Men Tell No Tales along with older films from the same series.

As of now, Zanelli has composed more than 3 hours’ worth of music for the game. Zanelli also spoke quite a bit about the music system that is being used in this game, which is based on what kind of action players are engaged in. If players are suddenly winning a battle, then the appropriate music will start to play.

It’s certainly nice to see all aspects of a game given so much care and attention and we’ll have to wait and see how it all comes together in the game when it is released. You can check out the video below.
