Nintendo’s Star Fox Zero finally has a new release date on the Wii U. As announced in the latest Nintendo Direct, it will be releasing for the Wii U on April 22nd 2016 in North America. This is following a delay from its original release date in November.
Reasons for the delay were as you’d expect – Nintendo wanted to make sure that it had the proper amount of polish, not to mention the proper feel of a Platinum Games title. Not too long ago, co-director Yusuke Hashimoto revealed that both Wii U screens for gameplay were running at 60 FPS and that it served as “kind of a milestone in gaming”.
With regards to the Platinum feel, Hashimoto further stated that this pertained to increasing quality for visuals, controls and much more.
