Star Ocean 5 Gets New Gameplay Footage

Integrity and faithlessness.

Star Oceans 5

Square Enix’s Star Ocean 5 is launching next year for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The game actually looks pretty awesome (hopefully a return to form for the series after a general decline for the last few games), and for fans of Japanese games, just perhaps its existence is reassuring.

The good news is the game continues to justify its keep, as this brand new footage for it shows. While those from the outside might wonder what all the fuss is about when they see the footage, which looks unimaginably Japanese, and with not enough compelling gameplay, Star Ocean fans will probably delight at the notion of a new game in the series, and one that seems to be channelling series classics so well at that.

Star Ocean 5 is due out next year for the PS3 and PS4 in Japan, and presumably, in the west as well. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
