It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the Star Ocean series. It’s not had an original entry for many years, and we’ve just now getting remasters of the some of the classics in the storied Japanese RPG series. Now we’ve got another one, which originally was a remake of the first game, allowing us to revisit the first game in the series (again).
Star Ocean: First Departure R is an HD remaster of a remake of the first title that originally came out on the PSP. The launch trailer shows off the new artwork as well as some of the gameplay as it highlights the various characters and setting you’ll be revisiting (or visiting, if this is your first time experiencing the game).
