DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront 2 can now be experienced by EA Access subscribers in full. According to the game’s Microsoft Store page, the title has joined the Vault for EA’s service on Xbox One. The publisher hasn’t officially confirmed its inclusion, and it’s not yet part of Origin Access Basic on PC. You can still play the whole thing via Origin Access Premier though.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 released last year and offered a single-player campaign along with expanded multiplayer. Though these were viewed as improvements over its predecessor, the title ran into controversy over the inclusion of Star Cards in loot boxes, which had pay-to-win implications. Eventually, the backlash caught up with EA, and they overhauled the game’s progression system earlier this year.
As it stands, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has received a decent number of updates in its lifespan. Battle of Geonosis recently released and added a new Galactic Assault mission, two new heroes (General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi), and new land vehicles. Stay tuned for more information on whether the game comes to the Vault on Origin Access Basic as well.
