Get hyped.

Star Wars Battlefront

EA Play, an open event that publisher Electronic Arts holds for E3, has two games confirmed for hands-on play: Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the next Need for Speed. Madden NFL 18, FIFA 18 and NBA Live 18 has also been confirmed.

Interestingly enough, EA said that this wouldn’t be all and that more information on the event would be shared in the coming months. Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be out in Holiday 2017 while the next Need for Speed is expected to arrive before March 2018.

Could Visceral’s Star Wars title, helmed by former Uncharted writer Amy Hennig, be appearing? How about Respawn Entertainment’s action adventure game set in the same universe? Maybe the oft-rumoured follow-up to Dragon Age as well? Time will tell.

What do you hope to see at EA Play or E3 2017 in general? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information en route to E3.
