Star Wars Battlefront

EA and DICE have announced a beta for Star Wars: Battlefront, scheduled to take place in early October for PC and Xbox One. This follows Sony’s announcement for the PS4 beta which will also take place in October.

The included content in the beta ranges from Walker Assault on Hoth, a 40 player battle mode where you can take control of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader; a Survival Mission on Tatooine where two Rebel players must work together to fight off Imperial enemies; and Drop Zone for which more information will be made available when the beta is ready to launch.

There will also be a Companion mini-game called Base Command, a card battler that allows you to earn Credits for in-game usage. You can also use it for checking your stats and overall character progression in Battlefront.

Star Wars: Battlefront is set to release on November 17th for current gen platforms in North America. Will you be taking part in the beta? Let us know in the comments.
