It’s been a very long time since we’ve had a single player Star Wars game. EA and Respawn Entertainment have finally brought us one, and it’s quite good. An action RPG with plenty of Metroidvania elements, it’s a good first outing. It also seems the game has been received well financially based on the UK charts.
According to GamesIndustry, while the game didn’t quite manage to top the UK charts (this launched beside mainline Pokemon game that took three of the top ten spots), it did debut strongly. It was number 2 on the charts. While overall the game is also down the last Star Wars title, Star Wars Battlefront 2, the expectations are lower with EA expecting the game to sell somewhere around 6-8 million by March.
