Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – 9-Minute Gameplay Video Showcases New Planet Koboh

A new extended gameplay demonstration shows off the upcoming action-adventure title's improved combat, traversal, and more.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor might not be launching next month the way it was supposed to, but its recent delay was a relatively short one nonetheless. With the action-adventure sequel due out in a little over two months, Respawn Entertainment and EA will be rolling out a steady stream of new information over the coming weeks. Plenty of that will be coming courtesy of IGN’s month-long exclusive coverage of the game, which has kicked off with an extended gameplay demonstration.

Showcasing 9 minutes of gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the new gameplay puts the spotlight on Koboh, a new planet in the Star Wars universe created for the game. Cal crash-lands on the planet in the early hours of the game while on a secret mission, and must head out with BD in order to find a way to repair the Mantis.

The gameplay showcases a variety of locations on the dusty and craggy planet of Koboh, while plenty of combat is also shown off. Cal has picked up a variety of new moves that fans of Fallen Order will be able to spot, while we also get a deeper look at the several Lightsaber stances that players will be able to switch between in the middle of combat. Meanwhile, we also get glimpses of some traversal gameplay and a couple of Cal’s new abilities on that front, including his grappling hook. Check out the video below for more details.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out on April 28 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
