Blizzard Entertainment is continuing its rollout of games for Game Pass. After bringing Diablo 4 to the service earlier in the year, the company has now announced that it will soon also be bringing its beloved sci-fi strategy series StarCraft to Game Pass.
In an update on Xbox Wire, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection will release for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on November 5.
Both real-time strategy titles’ multiplayer components are already free-to-play, but this will also give Game Pass subscribers on PC access to their single-player offerings without any additional costs. And yes, that will also include all of StarCraft 2’s expansion campaigns – Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the Void, and Nova Covert Ops –on top of the Wings of Liberty base game.
Of course, our wait for a new StarCraft game continues, and doesn’t show any signs of ending anytime soon, but the series’ excellent single-player content all becoming readily available via Game Pass is certainly good news nonetheless.
