Some days you just want to hang out and chill on a farm. Stardew Valley scratched that kind of itch, as the farming simulator in the style of Harvest Moon has been a huge success with over 10 million copies sold as of the beginning of this year. Developer ConcernedApe has also been hard at work on updates, including the long discussed update 1.5. Now, they’ve taken to Twitter to give us a little tease.
On Creator Eric Barone’s official account, he says that he’s got his nose to the grindstone working on the update, and posts an image that shows a new door added in Willy’s shop. What is behind that door? Well, that’s a mystery for now, but he did also say there would be an addition of “significant” new end-game content.
Stardew Valley is available now across all major platforms. No date yet for when to expect the big update. Barone has also been said to be working on two more games in the Stardew Valley universe, but no word yet on what those will be.
Stardew Valley 1.5 update… notice anything new in Willy's shop? Progress on the update is coming along steadily. It's still in a "nose to the grindstone" phase, but some good milestones have been met. This update adds a significant new piece of end-game content and much more! pic.twitter.com/FmjgDJnqYO
