State of Decay may not be the biggest property Microsoft have in their disposal, but but the 2013 cult classic certainly has a pretty dedicated and respectably large fan base. Given the success it say, both critically and commercially, it’s no surprise that Undead Labs are returning with a sequel, and in every sense of the phrase, State of Decay 2 looks bigger and better. THE SETUP

State of Decay 2 will pick up a year and a half after the first game, but it won’t really have a single linear story to tell. The focus, instead, will be on on a dynamic narrative of a community in this harsh zombie post-apocalypse. What does that mean in layman terms?
