THE CHARACTERS
There is no single story to tell in State of Decay 2, which means there is no set cast of characters- there isn’t even a protagonist. Instead, the characters you and your friends play as in the game will be randomly generated, and each will have their own unique quirks, strengths, and weaknesses. One character might have much more limited stamina due to having asthma, while another might have a higher pain threshold, allowing you to take higher amounts of damage. Each of these can, of course, die, but once dead, they will remain dead, and you’ll be handed a new character to play as, wiping all your progress with the previous character clean.
