State of Decay 2 Release Date Announcement May Be Inbound

Maybe new media for it soon, too?

Undead Labs and Microsoft’s State of Decay 2, the sequel to the breakout hit zombie survival game on the Xbox 360, was announced for Spring 2018 last E3, but we haven’t seen or heard anything of it since. That may be about to change soon, because an ESRB listing for the game has cropped up.

This is significant, because ESRB listings usually show up only when a game is submitted for certification- itself something that only happens near a game’s release. This also corroborates what Undead Labs Community Manager Nicole also said on Reddit last month- that the game will make its Spring release date, and the developer is ready to talk more about it.

Hopefully, we get new trailers and media for the game soon- we did see it at E3 last year, but what we saw, while looking significantly expanded over the original game, didn’t look all that hot. The gam is due out on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
