First available on the Nintendo Switch, Image and Form Games’ SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is out now on PC for Steam. Along with mouse and keyboard support, it features cloud saves and Achievements. It’s also available at a 15 percent discount until June 7th, so pick up your copy today.
Set in medieval times with steampunk robots running about, players must journey across the land, meeting several companions along the way. Previous games in the series have offered gameplay that ranges from Metroidvania-style to tactical turn-based battles. However, SteamWorld Quest is a turn-based RPG with deck-building elements.
This means that you create a deck of attacks and abilities from over 100 cards for use in battle. With hand-drawn visuals and a charming sense of humour, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech should appeal to both, series fans and those seeking a lighthearted RPG. Hopefully it comes to other platforms like Xbox One and PS4 sooner than later.
