With Helldivers 2 and Rise of the Ronin out of the way, next up in PlayStation Studios’ pipeline of upcoming game is Stellar Blade, and ahead of its launch a little more than a month from now, a slice of the game will soon become available to players courtesy of a demo.

Sony and developer Shift Up have announced that a free demo of Stellar Blade will launch on March 29. The demo will cover the game’s beginning and end at the first boss fight. In addition to tutorials to familiarize you with the fundamentals of the combat, the demo will also see players exploring post-war Eidos 7, a human city now infested by the Naytiba, the alien invaders who’ll serve as the game’s primary antagonists.

Shift Up says players who complete the demo will receive a “little surprise”, while players will also be able to carry over their save data to the full game when it releases next month.

Stellar Blade is set to launch for PS5 on April 26.
